The year is 1957; the place is the old quarter of Seville. My grandparents, important people at that time, bought a house to own property in the street Álvarez Quintero No. 48. Since then the family on my father’s side has been living in this traditional Sevillian dwelling: with its central patio and its covered balconies full of flowerpots, which still give joy and is a delight to the eye.

Several years later, my father inherited the apartment building. As I came to the world my family was already living there. Here I grew up in a marvelous home environment with plenty of space and with a traditional flavor, which of course during the years has become a trendy touch.

Recently renovated and equipped with all comforts (elevator, air conditioning, WI-FI, etc.) this family house gives a pleasant feeling of integration into the passage of time. We have turned our former family house into apartments for holiday rent and the patio into an auditorium with traditional flamenco shows. We would be pleased to share this house, this street and this quarter with you.

A stay at AQ48 apartamentos includes tickets to one of ours moving flamenco performances, which goes on every night at 9 P.M. till 10 P.M.

The building is an exceptional location in the heart of Seville, within a stone’s throw from the Cathedral, and close to the city hall and Salvador’s Square. Additionally, it would be wrong not to mention some of the other attractions: the traditional stores in the pedestrian precinct, the many tapas bars, etc.
